It's been a pleasure dealing with Mile Hi.
I'm not set up yet, but the quality appears to be as perfect as can be. The eight gallon tank is quite beautiful! When I solder the copper together I'll have to practice to make the joints do it justice.

I've come to expect high quality stuff from MHD. I had intended to build my project from the ground up, but quickly came to the conclusion that the boiler was going to be tough to do well. So I invested in the 8 gallon boiler. Wow! That's what friends say.

Don't forget to get the threaded thermometer. Fits perfectly in the threaded 1/2" npt port.

I had bought one of the 8 gallon boilers about 6 years ago and since then I have run many gallons of shine through it with 2 inch diameter short columns all the way up to 40 inches long columns. At the time I got mine I hadn't come back to write a review but since I frequent Milehi I felt compelled to write and say, their quality is top notch and a still from these people will serve you for many years.
I measure all other stills against Milehi and Milehi wins all the time, great products.

A high quality product!! Order arrived within a few days. The 1/2" NPT fitting works great for putting a thermocouple probe into (using a reducer and 1/8" NPT to compression fitting"

I bought this boiler because I did not like the old style as they leaked with a tall tower rocking from who knows why. I used the old one with a hot plate and didn't really like that either. The new one with a 2,000 watt heater is fantastic. Super fast heating with no loss of vapor. I am a happy customer.
