Description
EZ FILTER System
The EZ FILTER System provides a complete solution for filtering distilled spirit. This Carbon filter system is a specially formulated filter cartridge with no powdered granules making it easier to use. This filter is ideal for filtering alcohol to prepare it for use with the flavorings. The system includes the two 10 liter (2.5 gallon) plastic buckets shown along with one carbon cartridge and the cartridge assembly. The filter attaches to the bottom of the top bucket. You simply attach the carbon filter to the bottom of the top bucket place it on top of the bottom bucket. First, run about 1 gallon of water to remove any carbon dust or recirculate if you are filtering water. Now fill the top bucket with your spirit. This system filters 3 liters of alcohol in about 20 minutes and water about twice that fast. Each cartridge will filter approximately 10 liters of alcohol or 300 liters of water. One carbon filter cartridge is included with this system.

This filter is so easy to set up and very compact. I ran 3 liters thru it in less than an hour. Couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase of this rather than the 6 foot long tube.

This item is a must have. It makes filtering alot easier and the best part is that there’s no mess like you get with the loose carbon. To begin all you need to do is let 4 cups of boiling water run through the unit and you’re ready to begin filtering. The tap makes bottling alot easier as well. This is a very solid unit to have in your distilling arsenal.

THIS IS GREAT FOR DOING SMALL BATCHES I.E 5 GALLONS OR SO. IF YOU PLAN ON FILTERING A RUN OF 20 -100 I WOULD SUGGEST A 55GAL PLASTIC TUB AND SOME MAPLE CHARCOAL. THE MILEHIGH STAINLESS CARBON FILTER IS THE WAY TO GO FOR BATCHES. 10 TO 40 GAL. OVER ALL GREAT PRODUCT.

I purchased this unit to replace one that I had from a different manufacturer, do to its complexity and cost of the filters. This unit is very easy and cost effective to operate.

Great addition to give you that smooth taste with little work. Make sure you flush them with hot water first and they give you a nice clean smooth finish to your product. Spicket makes it easy to bottle when finished.

Wanted to give you all an update and pass along a little trick I’ve learned. After you flush them out run your alcohol through without cutting it then run half your water through to flush the remaining alcohol out of the filter mix it well test and adjust from there. No more losing the alcohol remaining in the filter. Good luck and Happy Stillin.
