Star Anise 2oz. Star anise is used in the Greek drink Ouzo in conjunction with wormwood and other ingredients to make the Italian drink Sambuca, and of course, the very popular drink Jägermeister originating from Germany.
It's a great ingredient to experiment with given it's licorice-like taste. Make your own unique drink or try your hand at your very own, Jägermeister, Sambuca or Ouzo. Use with an essential oil distiller, infuse with an infusion chamber or carry over flavor in different ways, it's versatile! It can even be used in teas for a nice night-time drink.
