This Pot Still 8 Gallon with 2 Inch tower has been a favorite for people who want an affordable still that works like a champ for distilling alcohol or water.
Stock tower includes a digital thermometer, 2" rubber bung, 1 2" clamp, and 2 2" gaskets. The Stainless Steel upgrade for 69.99 adds a 2.5" dial thermometer as a replacement for the digital thermometer, and an NPT fitting to tighten the dial thermometer down in place of the bung, as well as an extra clamp and gasket.
The 8 Gallon milk can will come with an additional clamp and gasket for the 2" cap , and a 1/2" threaded plug. The 8 gallon boiler can be used with gas burner, electric hotplate or the electric heating element. A free bag of yeast is included with every still purchase.

I am so happy with my new still! The team at MileHi helped fill in the gaps my Google/YouTube searches could not help me understand. I have completed three successful runs. The first was rough - it was alcohol but not good lol. The second my wife said "yeah it tastes like rum but like the stuff on the bottom shelf". The third batch and only one good enough to barrel cure I let my extended family try over Independence Day weekend and the look on their faces was priceless - they could not believe I made it! This still is great quality, easy to operate and easy to clean. I would encourage you to get the thermometer add-on when you buy it is difficult to modify later. Happy distillin' !

Beautiful. This thing is functional art. The picture doesn't do it justice. Its built like a tank and should last forever. Was using a Chinese made p.o.s. from the internet to try this without spending a lot of money. It worked but was flimsy and slow. Never sure what the temp was inside despite the thermometer In the lid, just had to run it by discharge. This thing is absolutely predictable. Things happen at the temps they are supposed to. Very glad I finally upgraded to this.
Only 1 complaint and it's petty. The videos on the products hit on there products being made right here in America. I'm a proud unapologetic American. So when setting up the still for it's cleaning run, I was disappointed to find that the included hose clamps didn't work with my standard nut drivers it was a 6mm nut, thin, and stripped out the first time I tightened it down. With every thing else being so perfect it's still 5 stars, but make a trip to Home depot to get good hose clamps.
