I like the clear plastic but it’s much larger than the other graduated measuring cylinder I have. I run very small batches separated into pints as I capture the product, this larger cylinder takes much more product to get a reading. Certainly not the fault of the cylinder but not optimal for my use.
I got mine with the Mr. Distiller Complete Kit. This graduated cylinder is too big–320 ml–to use as a test jar. A better test jar is the glass, 100-ml model here https://milehidistilling.com/product/glass-test-jar-100ml/. I do use this graduated cylinder to measure larger volumes, like when making dilutions and such. It’s great for measuring volume, but too big for a test jar.
Much better than the glass test jar. I purchased the alcohol test kit and unfortunately the base did not fit on the glass jar and the glass test jar broke on me so I ordered this one as its replacement and it works perfectly.
Put a small ball of copper packing in the bottom an you will never break another test instrument by dropping it into the beaker
