Dried Elderberries 2oz for the distillation of gins, wines, and other cordials. Packs a sweet/tart taste with just a handful of the bag and is sure to pack a punch in your distillate.

Star anise, coriander seed, liquorice, and cinnamon sticks can all be used together with elderberries to make unique flavors and recipes.

Elderberries are a native European plant and have been used in medicine for hundreds of years. When it comes to distillation, it can also be used to make tart gins, a strong Sambuca, and even some brandies for the adventurous

Some recipes for use:

Combine 5 ounces of dried elderberry, 1 pound of white raisins, 2 1/2 pounds of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of acid blend in 1 gallon of water. Add 1 teaspoon of yeast and yeast nutrient. Ferment and distill. Consider adding oak chips for a different flavor.
