Raschig Rings (1/4 Inch) 1 Liter
Ceramic Raschig Rings are an excellent column filling due to their large surface area. 1/4 inch bag. These make a great packing for towers like the 2″ diameter Dual Purpose tower. Each bag weighs 2.2 lbs ( volume is estimated at 1 Liter )
Also available in 3/8” bag for bigger towers like the 3″ diameter Torpedo or 4″ diameter columns.
These rings are also known as “boil enhancers” because they will take some of the more volatile chemicals and do away with them, giving you more purity and no off-taste from those chemicals.

Bought these and use them in my 2 inch diameter copper column. Seems to work better than just using copper or stainless steel mesh packing in the column. column temperature was more stable during the run and product output was very nice!
They work great, no problem with installation.
I use a cup of these in my boiler they prevent flashing and help spread out the boil. And the customer service is second to none always ready to help you with your questions and concerns.
I replaced copper scrubbers in my column with these and two rolls of copper packing. My still went from putting out about 86%abv to 95%.
