2 Inch Copper Bubble Cap Plate
2 Inch Copper Bubble Cap Plate for windowed section plated reflux column. These copper bubble plates are used in a windowed section still column or between flanges positioned between sections to help with separation of alcohol and waters. The alcohol / water bubbles up on the plates allowing the distiller to see the action happening in the still column. More bubble cap plates in a column and a taller column with a reflux condenser or dephleg create a high percentage neutral spirit. Copper bubble plates can be taken apart and cleaned with citric acid or mild acid solution.
These can be used between 360 degree sight glass sections or any 2 tri-clamp flanged connection.

I bought two to try out and see if they worked. Then I bought 4 more now I have a poor man's version of a flute still.
