About 13 years ago I was looking around the internet for stainless vessel we could use for still boilers and come across an old distiller photo using a milk can and looked very promising. We decided to buy a few for testing and was very happy with the results. We found a company that made high quality cans and worked with the company to make the necessary changes to work the best for distillers. As you can see it’s become a standard but Mile Hi was the first to sell Still Boilers.

Our cans are welded not seamed. Many other companies are selling seamed cans that are very similar to ours. With the metal expanding and contracting with heat the seams could start to leak over time. That’s why we only sell welded cans.
