Works very well, even came with battery.
These digital thermometers are great, however you will need to replace the battery to get them to work. I like the digital best, IMHO.
I love the thermometer in the distillation tower. Head being angled and digital read in tenths, makes it easy to read and keep track of temp. It could be more rugged in design, but if you are careful with it they work great.(don’t grab it by the top piece for a handle)Also, be careful not to get it to hot, it will malfunction till it cools down a bit. (I use a weed burner to initially get things warmed up)No problems in a run.I’m on my second one. Yes, I would recommend to a friend.
