8 Gallon with 3 Inch Diameter Torpedo Pro. Get the same yield as our 8 gallon 2″ Dual Purpose pro still in half the time by using our 3″ Torpedo Pro tower. Torpedo Pro still includes sight glass. You can use this sight glass as an infusion chamber or gin basket to house botanicals. You can also clamp in sight glass below the reflux condenser to watch the reflux action. An awesome way to infuse the vapor to get a boost of flavor in the distillate. Run a strawberry brandy and add some fresh strawberries to the sight glass to infuse the vapor with the taste of fresh strawberries or add cinnamon sticks, herbs, and spices to make a spiced whiskey. Be creative and make your own infusions.
This Torpedo Pro still will produce 180 to 190 proof moonshine as a reflux still and will also run as a pot still to carry over flavor at about 120 proof
For reflux it is as easy as running water to both reflux condenser and final product condenser. Pack the column with rings and copper mesh and your running a reflux alcohol still or run as a pot still by running water to just the final product condenser on the arm and inserting one roll of copper in the tower.
Eight gallon stainless milk can with 2″ port for heating element. Also includes cap, clamp, and gasket to cap off and be used with a gas burner or electric hot plate.

This is a first impressions review. I’ve had nothing but problems since I received this beautiful reflux still a week ago.
The first one was when I made eye contact with the FedEx guy who delivered it. There was hatred in his eyes. When I picked up the package I realized why. It is freaking heavy. This is not the usual internet offshore-made minimum gauge crap. You may need to unpack it on your porch unless you are feeling strong.
Problem two was when I unpacked all the parts. It took forever because of how well it was wrapped up, but then I started acting goofy. The heft, the weld quality, the finish of each piece got to me. I mean, I was borderline fondling a bunch of stainless steel fittings. It was embarrassing. Luckily I was in the basement. What if the neighbors or, God forbid, my impressionable young son had seen me?
But it got worse. After assembling and dissassembling the tower just for fun, I put it all neatly on the rack next to my other brewing equipment. It made everything else look bad. I’ve been homebrewing for 25 years. I know what hobbyist brewing and distilling gear looks like. It looks cobbled together from reclaimed bits. It has lots of halfassed workarounds in it. It looks makeshift. This still totally wrecks that vibe. I had to turn my homebuilt converted beer keg mash tun around so that the ferrules and nipples I lovingly welded onto that thing myself now face the wall. I used to be really proud of that kettle. Now the only word I can think of is shabby. What if I have to upgrade my other gear to match? What will that do to my son’s college fund?
So far all I’ve done with the still is boil and condense some vinegar in a cleaning run, and I can say it works quite well for that. I have a batch of simple sour match fermenting away now. After a few actual distillation runs, I’ll report back on any other horrible new problems that arise, but to review so far:
1) My Fedex delivery guy now hates me
2) I need to hide my newly discovered stainless steel fetish from my wife
3) Most of my substantial collection of brewing and fermenting equipment now looks terrible in comparison. Expensive upgrades are going to be a temptation. My kid may need a college scholarship.
