EZ Filter System Carbon Cartridge Replacement Filter is constructed from a special blend of carbons. These carbons are made with pore sizes ideal for removing impurities from a distilled spirit. Furthermore, this filter can also remove unwanted flavors from water. Also, it is fast, clean, and easy to use. In addition, each cartridge is suitable for one batch of alcohol from an 8 gallon still. The cartridge eliminates the need to handle powdered or granulated carbon. The design allows the spirit to pass through the carbon and absorb the unwanted flavors.

Been using these for years and wanted to update everyone to what I have found. The higher your abv the better, flush them with hot water then run your alcohol through it when that's finished run half the water your going to cut it with to flush and recover the alcohol that remains in the filter. Test your abv after you mix it well then add the rest of the water you need a little at a time until you get wear you want and bottle it good luck.

Great filters I soak mine for 10 minutes in boiling water then run a gallon of hot water through it and your ready to go. I then run my product twice for a nice smooth finish
