Description

General yeast nutrient, DistilaVite® GN uses a complete nutrient blend to help yeast with the correct nutrient balance needed.

Ingredients include inorganic nitrogen (diammonium phosphate), organic nitrogen (amino nitrogen from inactivated yeast), and essential vitamins and minerals like thiamine, niacin, folic acid, magnesium sulfate and calcium pantothenate while also providing provides sterols and  fatty acids, which helps yeast gain some alcohol tolerance.

Nutrients like DistilaVite® GN increases yeast budding during the growth phase during fermentation, resulting in in high yeast concentrations. Higher concentrations in yeast can end up with more consistent and complete fermentations and better congener production.

This General Yeast Nutrient can be used in grain, sugar, fruit, rum, tequila spirits and other spirits.

Directions for use:
DistilaVite® GN can be added to the propagator, to the fermenter itself at the start, or part way through the fermentation when yeast budding starts to slow down.

Use 1/2 teaspoon of yeast nutrient to 1 gallon of wash. When working with refined sugars such as cane sugar for rum/neutral spirit, fructose syrup from corn or any other converted starch from grains, use a larger amount per wash.

Do not mix concentrated nutrient directly into yeast or do not add to dry yeast during rehydration. Yeast nutrient should be added to wash directly at start of fermentation and part way through fermentation.

Storage:
Should be stored in a cool, dry area for maximum stability and optimal shelf life. When stored under these conditions,the product is stable for thirty six months from the date of
manufacture.

Note: This is a yeast nutrient only and will need to pair with yeast to work. Use this yeast nutrient with tequila yeast
