Molasses rum yeast nutrient, DistilaVite® VM uses a complete nutrient blend to help yeast with the correct nutrient balance needed for it to thrive in fermentations. It contains ingredients like inorganic and organic nitrogen, enzymes and minerals that are vital to healthy fermentation.

Nutrients like DistilaVite® VM molasses yeast nutrient increases yeast budding during the growth phase during fermentation, resulting in in high yeast concentrations. Higher concentrations in yeast can end up with more consistent and complete fermentations and better congener production.

This General Yeast Nutrient can be used in grain and molasses.

Directions for use:
DistilaVite® GN grain nutrient can be added fermenter  at the start, or part way through the fermentation when yeast budding starts to slow down.

Use 1/2 teaspoon of yeast nutrient to 1 gallon of wash / mash.

Do not mix concentrated nutrient directly into yeast or do not add to dry yeast during rehydration. Yeast nutrient should be added to wash directly at start of fermentation and part way through fermentation.

Storage:
Should be stored in a cool, dry area for maximum stability and optimal shelf life. When stored under these conditions,the product is stable for thirty six months from the date of
manufacture.

Note: This is a yeast nutrient only and will need to pair with yeast to work. Suggested to be used with rum yeast
